1. Have the beam projector ready to show the images or download the file and print them to make copies for students.

2. If you print them, students can write on the same paper and you can have a class display.

3. Ask students to describe the scene and ask them how common that is.

4. Ask students how many like soccer, play soccer, or hate soccer.

5.Tell students, there's a story behind the picture but first, we need to find possible titles for it.

6. Write down on the board students' ideas and tell them you will discuss them later.

7. Ask students to work in small groups and discuss a possible story for the picture.

8. Invite groups to read their stories and then, go back to the list of titles to choose one to go with them.

10. Ask students to give you words they think of when they hear the word 'RAIN'.

11. Write those words on the board.

12. Tell students this picture corresponds to the ending of a story so they need to work on the beginning and middle part of it. You can say it is the ending of the story they wrote/invented in the previous activity.

13. Encourage students to think of unexpected events in their stories.

14. Monitor and offer help as needed.

15. Invite pairs of students to share their stories with the class and get some feedback from them.
