1. Download the files suggested in the MED section and make copies for students.

2. Ask students what tenses (present-past-future) they need to use when telling a story.

3. Ask students what other grammar elements they may need in order to tell a story accurately and put the listener/ reader in the right mood.

4. Tell students they are going to review some grammar elements to help them in their storytelling process.

5. Ask students what other elements they need when describing past events or telling a story. Drive students to notice that past time words are necessary to help the reader or listener understand the sequence of events.

6. Distribute the worksheet and ask students to read the sentences and choose the correct answer. Encourage students to answer without any help because it is important to know if they know how to use these words.

7. Tell students not to worry if they don't have an answer. They need to leave it blank and continue with the other sentences.

8. Ask students to sit in pairs and help each other with the missing information they couldn't get.

9. Read the sentences and ask the class to answer.

1. Have the beam projector ready to show the image suggested in the MED section, and download the file to make copies for students as well.

2. Tell students they are going to work with a story about a family.

3. Ask students to describe their families and what activities they do together.

4. Ask them when they last took a vacation and where.

6. Ask students to describe the picture and give names to the members of this family.

7. Ask students to work in pairs and discuss the context and predict some events related to that situation.

10. Invite students to read an event, then, somebody else reads the next event he/ she wrote, etc until you have a complete story with different events.

11. Tell students they are going to continue working with the organization of events in a story but this time they need to think of an anecdote or fun situation they went through. Then, write some notes and remind students they need to be concise when they write down the information in the template.
