1. Download the worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section, print it, and make photocopies for each student.

2. Give the photocopies away and read the title and instructions out loud.

3. Before starting the activity, ask several volunteers to describe the pictures they see and say their name out loud. Help with pronunciation if necessary.

4. Tell students this time they will have to fill in the missing letter or letters to complete the words that make the story.

5. Have students work individually and give them enough time to answer the activity.

6. Once they finish, have students color the pictures.

7. To check the activity, read the story line by line as a class. Allow students to make corrections.

8. Finally, have students work in pairs and read the story to each other. Monitor their work.

1. Download the pdf document suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section.

2. Make a photocopy for each student and have them ready in advance.

3. Ask students to bring to the class a piece of cardstock, glue and their scissors.

4. Give the photocopies away and read the title of this new story and ask them if they know it. Elicit answers.

5. Read the instructions out loud and tell students they are going to work with this new story.

6. Before starting the activity, make sure students have their additional materials ready but do not ask them to take it out yet.

7. Ask several volunteers to describe the pictures and what is happening in each of them. Make sure students understand the scenes and help with vocabulary or pronunciation if necessary.

8. Have students cut out the pictures with their scissors carefully.

9. Then, ask children to arrange the images in the correct order the events in the story happened. Have students do this task individually and then, check as a class.

10. Once they finish, ask students to color the pictures and then paste them on the piece of cardstock they brought.

11. Have students write a sentence under each picture retelling the story or describing the scenes. Help them with vocabulary if necessary.

12. As students are working, walk around the class and monitor their work.

13. Finally, ask several volunteers to come to the front and share their work with the class and read their story out loud.

2. Before giving students their photocopies, write the title of the story on the board and ask them if they know it, recognize it or remember it.

3. Give students a chance to tell you what the story is about, who the characters are, etc.

4. Give away the photocopies to each student and before starting with the lesson, let them look at all the pictures.

5. Ask students to describe what they see and give them a chance to read the words under them to tell you about them.

6. Once students finish describing the pictures, ask them to complete the sentences using the pictures for each section. Tell them they have to be very careful while they copy the words.

7. Then, have students trace and complete the phrases individually. If students struggle, have them work in pairs. Walk around and monitor their work.

8. Finally, have students read the sentences after you, then to their pairs, and last, to the rest of the class.
