1. Download and print the worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section and make photocopies for each student.

2. Before starting the class, write the verbs from the worksheet on the board and ask students about their meaning. Play some TPR and speaking games like charades, to make sure they understand each of them.

3. Give away the photocopies to your students and read the title and instructions out loud.

4. Remind students what a verb is and have them identify the ones in their worksheet since they are the same, they just practiced playing charades. You can have volunteers read the verbs out loud.

5. Go over the first activity and have students identify the words that are verbs from the ones that are not.

6. Continue with the next exercise and ask students to look at the pictures for help.

7. If possible, have students do the activities individually, and help only if is really necessary.

8. Finally, check students' answers, by having volunteers read them out loud to the class. If you prefer it, you can also ask students to come to the front and write their answers on the board.

1. Have the game suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section ready in advance to show it to students using a beam projector.

2. Before starting the class, practice the alphabet.

3. Project the game and make sure everyone can see correctly.

4. Divide the class into teams. You could have 4 or 5 teams in total.

5. Explain students the instructions and make sure they understand. You can use the first two examples to practice. Tell students they only have some seconds to spell the word.

6. If students don’t know the word, you can click on the speaker icon for them to listen to the pronunciation.

7. Start the game and have a student from each team guess the letters to form the words. You can do this also in writing.

8. If you decide to do it orally, assign each team a turn to participate and play the game as many times as necessary.

9. Keep the score on the board. The winner will be the team with more points and more correct answers.

2. Prepare a list of words students have learned or reviewed during the whole unit and make a list in advance.

3. Tell students they are going to have a spelling quiz or pretest and explain what it is in case they don’t know.

4. Give a photocopy away to each student, and before starting with the spelling of the words, review the alphabet as a class.

5. Spell the words you chose and monitor students' work by walking around the class.

6. Finally, if you think it is a good option, have students exchange their handouts and check their classmates' quiz.

7. Write the words in the order you dictate them and ask them to be very careful when marking their classmates’ work.
