1. Have the video and worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section ready.

2. Prepare the beam projector to show the video and the worksheet. Remember to print a photocopy of the worksheet for each student.

3. Before starting the class, have students tell you the names of other stories they know.

4. Tell students they will now see a very well-known story.

5. Project the video and have students read and listen to the story.

6. You can play the video again and pause it in every scene to have students read the story out loud, or read it after you.

7. Then, you could have some volunteers read the story aloud for the rest of the class. Make sure most students participate.

8. Now, give the photocopies of the worksheet away and read the instructions aloud. Make sure students understand what they have to do. Double check if necessary.

9. Tell students they must match both columns according to the story they learned in the video "This little piggy" that they watched earlier in the class.

10. As students work, walk around to monitor their work and help them if necessary.

12. Finally, have volunteers come to the front and read their answers out loud. Make sure most students participate.

1. Download and print the worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section and make photocopies for each student.

2. Tell students that, to understand a story, it is not necessary to understand every word but, that we can understand it by using question words.

3. Give the photocopies away and read the title out loud. Have students tell you the meaning of the three question words. Help them if necessary, to determine the type of information each word provides.

4. Have students to describe the pictures and what they see, especially the characters.

5. Read the statements out loud and make sure students understand the statements.

6. Practice reading by asking several volunteers to read the statements out loud. Help with pronunciation.

7. Then, focus students' attention on the questions at the bottom of the page and double check their meaning.

8. If possible, have students do the activity individually, if you think your students will struggle, have them work in pairs. Give students enough time to answer the questions and monitor their work.

3. Before starting the class discuss as a group the title of the video and ask students what they know about the story. Have them include the characters, and some of the actions that happen in it.

4. Ask students a goal question before watching the video and write it on the board: "Who will she meet in the forest?". Then, project the video and have students read and listen to the story.

5. Elicit answers for the goal question and write them on the board. Make sure students agree on the answer.

6. Play the video again and pause it in every scene to have students read the story out loud.

7. If you want students to practice more reading, you could have some volunteers read the story aloud for the rest of the class. Make sure most students participate.

8. Give the photocopies away and read the title and instructions out loud for each exercise in the worksheet.

9. Go over activities 1-3 little by little to make sure students understand what to do in each step, but do not check their answers right after.

10. If possible, have students do each activity individually, if they struggle, have them work in pairs. Walk around the class as they are working to monitor their progress and help when possible.

11. Once students finish activity 3, check all the answers to the exercises as a class. If you want, you can project it on the board for students to see clearly and correct their mistakes.

12. Now, read the instructions for exercise 4 and ask students to draw their pictures and write short sentences about their grandma.
