1. Have the video suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section ready to show it to students.

2. Tell students they will listen to a song and watch a video about greeting each other

3. Play the video and have students listen to the song.

4. Then ask students what words they were able to recognize.

5. Play the song again and mime the moves along. Try to encourage students to follow you.

6. Practice singing and dancing the song without the video for students to learn it.

7. Play the video several times for students to practice.

8. Ask several students how they feel and have them use the words they learned from the song.

9. Finally, play the video one more time and sing and dance along as a group.

1. Download and print the flashcards suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section in advance or have a beam projector ready to show them to students.

2. Remind students about the Hello song and video from session 1 and sing the song.

3. Show the flashcards one by one to the students. Make sure you enunciate the words.

4. Double check the meaning of the words by asking a volunteer to say the word in their own language.

5. Show students the cards one more time and have them repeat the words after you.

6. Place all the cards on the board and have students say the words in order.

7. Point to the flashcards in disorder and practice saying the words aloud with students.

8. Have students close their eyes and take away one card for students to say which one is missing.

9. Practice the question “How are you?” as a group as you point to the different flashcards.

10. Finally, ask some students how they are feeling.

1. Download and print the worksheet suggested in the “Materiales Educativos Digitales” section in advance and make photocopies for each student.  

2. Give the photocopies away to each student and read the instructions aloud.

3. Have students look at the pictures and tell you what they mean.

4. Have students trace the words individually and monitor their work by walking around. Help them if necessary.

5. Then ask students what words they are able to recognize and ask for their meaning if necessary.

6. Practice reading the words aloud for students to learn them.

7. Students may exchange their worksheets with other classmates for them to review their work.

8. Finally, have some volunteers come to the front and write the words on the board.
