Have different students read paragraphs of the article and have the rest of the class identify the categories for different types of radio programs and write them in their notebooks with a short explanation. 5. Play the podcast you chose to students and have them identify the type of radio program they are listening to.

6. Have students work in teams of 4 and assign one of the types of radio programs to each team. 7. Ask them to find examples of real radio shows of the type of radio program they were assigned.

2. Show students the list of words related to a radio program and their meanings and have them copy these words in their notebooks. 3. Form groups of 5 students and tell them you will give them 10 minutes to learn the vocabulary and their meanings. Once the time is over, have students stop studying and pay attention to your instructions. 4. Tell students they will participate in a contest and call one member of each team to the front. 5. Open the tab where you have the “Radio Vocabulary Flash cards” and on the control panel choose the following settings: motion: flip /audio: on / start with: definition. 6. Have the students at the front listen to the definition of each flashcard and ask them to raise their hands if they know the answer. Show the answer on the board. 7. If students answer correctly, give the team a point and then call members of other teams to the front and do the same. 8. Play as many times as needed for students to really learn the vocabulary.
