Desarrollo | 00:40 | 3. T: previously made little cut out papers with the names and written numbers of the days of the week. 4. Divide the group in teams and ask one team member pick one paper and without him/her read it, give it to the teacher. Ss will have to spell the day or number the teacher call. Everyone in the team needs to participate, if the answer is correct they get a check. The team with the most checks, wins. 5. Name a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, place etc. 6. When the teams get their winning place, the T writes the number on the board followed by the written name of such number. 7. T: from the link shown on the “Recursos” column, give Ss pages 4, 7, 10 and 13. 8. Review the pages with your Ss, if time allows start working on those pages. 9. Ss finish the exercises for homework. |

Desarrollo | 00:40 | 2. T: start by showing the symbol of the Olympic games five colored rings and ask them if they know what they represent. 3. Remind them of the Spelling Olympics from the last session, then ask Ss if they know about the Olympic games in 2016. Tell the students the dates when the games are going to take place. T: in this case the games are scheduled from August 3 to 21, 2016. 4. Project a calendar on the board or take out a real calendar written in English or make one and bring it to class, the objective here is to show Ss the names of the months of the year. 5. Circle or underline the word August on the calendar, then the number 3 and finally write on the calendar or point at the year. 6. Continue by showing Ss the names of the rest of the months of the year; January, February, March, etc. 7. Use two different color markers and ask the Ss to spell the names of the months of the year. Write them on the board, using one color for upper case and the other color for lower case letters. 8. T: from the link shown on the “Recursos” column, give Ss pages #11, 12 and 16. 9. Review the pages with your Ss and ask them work on them, if time allows they’ll finish their pages if they don’t, they’ll have to finish them as homework. 15 to 20’ depending on your Ss ability. |
