Help the Ss laminate the cards. 3.Now it’s time to play with yourBingo. Have the students play in pairs. Give every pair a ticket and a handful of chips. Mix the cards, pick up one of them and say the word on it out loud. Show the drawing to the class. Ss put a chip on their cards when they see the word that matches the one you have said. The first pairthat fills the whole ticket is the winner. |

Desarrollo | 00:35 | Note: Print the Bingo tickets and cards before the session. The link is on the “recursos” section. 2. Have the Ss in pairs play ”Bingo about jobs and occupations”. Explain them how to play. Give each pair one ticket. Ask them to look at their Bingo tickets carefully to memorize the jobs and occupations on it. It is going to be easier to find the correct picture when you say an occupation. Say slowly and aloud the name of the occupation shown in each card and show it to the Ss. If they have it, they have to put a chip on the picture. When the Bingo ticket has been completed the pair has to shout “Bingo”. Some pairs can finish at the same time because some tickets are repeated. The winners are the first pair or pairs to correctly complete their ticket. |

Desarrollo | 00:40 | Note: Before the session draw a four-by-five grid on a card stock, using the ruler and a black marker. Make the grid spaces 5 cm horizontally and 5 cm vertically. When you finish, you will have 20 grid spaces on the card stock sheet. Photocopy the grid you drew onto additional sheets of card stock to make as many Bingo tickets as you need (atleast one per a pair of Ss). Bring the jobs and occupation, tools, vehicles, clothing flashcards to class. 2. Ask the Ss to brainstorm all the words they know connected with occupations and jobs.You can help the children by showing the flashcards. Write the words clearly on the board and at the end read them out loud for the class. With the whole class, choose 40 words. 3. Have the Ss work in pairs. Give a ticket to each pair. Distribute the words to the pairs (20 words per pair). Two pairs cannothave the same 20 words (at least one must be different). Ss write one word per square (copying them from the board).Each member of the pair must write 10 words. At the end of the activity, the whole class checks the tickets. |
