A creative activity for students to write predictions

1. Download the file and make copies for students.

2. Distribute the worksheet and ask students to describe the picture.

3. Ask students to imagine the future situation base don the following information,

Laura doesn’t like to cook or bake. She never learned, however, this time she needs to do something special for her best friend Susan. She has always been a great friend and has been there for her. Laura needed Susan’s help on a serious problem she was going through. It’s going to be Susan’s birthday….write a paragraph with your predictions and share it with the class.

4. Monitor the activity and help as needed.

5. Invite students to swap their stories with other students and give feedback.
