1. Download the file and make copies for students.
2. Ask students to work in pairs and distribute the crossword.
3. Tell students to divide the work into, CROSS and DOWN and set a time limit.
4. When the time is up and if they haven’t finished their section (try to give them a short time so they can work in a different way), ask students to sit with other students working on their same section and finish the activity.
5. Check answers with the class by calling the section and number.
