Games and worksheets to practice conditionals

Conditionals exercises

1. Play the First conditional board game. Make one copy of the game board for every three to four students in the class. Provide dice and counters for each group.

2. Divide the students into groups of three or four.

3. Read the rules and give time to play.

4. Show or print the Conditional 2 and the Conditional 1 & 2 mixed worksheets in the material included. 

5. Complete the exercises. Change your sheets with a partner and correct the sentences with the answers the teacher put in the whiteboard. Then return the sheets and review your own work. 

6. Complete the last worksheet and review the results in a group session. Come to the front by turns and write the completed sentences. The teacher helps with the possible mistakes and doubts.

7.      Comment with the students about the hardest issues to achieve to use the conditionals.
